Stamp-A-Faire 2018
I attended Paper Trey Ink's Stamp-A-Faire. This is their video from the first night.
You can see me making paper at around the 30 minute mark of the video. This was fun fun.
And I'm in another video here making a pop up box card :
It was super good time!
And you can see the haul from the event on my facebook art page: https://www.facebook.com/elonqpart/videos/240755313309681/

Stencil Club June Bonus
Just as I promised a bonus video for Stencil Girl's Stencil Club June 2018. This was such a honor!
I had a pretty napkin that serves as the beginning for this journal spread.
Thanks again for letting me share with you.

Stencil Club Voices June "Spriummer"
Hi Friends and Stencil lovers. I am here again for Stencil Girl and Stencil Club.
I will be showing you how I used watercolor and the June club stencils to create a piece I call Spriummer. Here in Kentucky we don't have spring any more. It just jumps from winter right into Summer.
And I just loved the stencils so much I created a bonus video for you, look for it in my next post tomorrow.
Thanks again Stencil Girl for this wonderful opportunity.

Stencil Club Voices May 2018
Hi my crafty friends. I am pleased to announce that I was chosen by Stencil Girl Products to be a Stencil Voice for the the months of May and June. You can see the whole post on their blog.
WOW! I am so excited to share with you the stencils I received for May. The artist is Andrew Borloz.
I forgot to photograph them all nice and pristine because I was itching to get them painty.
I do show them in the video of my project.
I like to reuse artwork whenever I can and one of the stencil designs spoke to me right away. It informed me of the direction I wanted to go with the piece. Watch the video to see what I came up with or scroll down.
I am working in my art journal and I recycled a Copic colored Wonder Woman. Always Scan your work you never know when you can use it again. BAM! POW! One portion of the 9x12 stencil looked like a symbol in a comic book right?!
Look closely at this picture and you can see all 3 of the stencils used to create the layers.
and a couple more close-ups.
I love being a member of StencilClub. Each month you get 3 stencils; a 4x4, a 6x6 and a 9x12 and better than that a community on Facebook of the members of the stencil club.
