Why are masculine cards so difficult for me to make? I certainly like men but cringe every time my customer (sister) asks me to make her a card for a man uugggh!
But hey an order is an order, gotta pay for this addiction some way.. I tried several versions of this idea before I finally found a result I like. I wanted to stamp over a polished stone background. But my background was too dark so after a few tries I gave up and stamped on another piece of cardstock.
I chose glossy so because my ink didn’t dry right away I was able to sprinkle on some embossing powder and it caught in various places. I liked the effect.

Yes, I like the mottled effect of the embossing powder. You are right, sometimes guy cards are the hardest to make.
Guy cards are really hard, but you've mastered it with this one! It's great!!!
