MO Stamping

If you have not heard of MO Manning please go and visit her site. She sells digital stamps that look like me. Why is that exciting…well there aren’t too many stamps period that look like me in rubber, acrylic or otherwise.

IMG_1361I colored this fairy with my copic markers. I’d like to tell you which ones but I used 22 of them and colored over my first colors with other colors. At one point my design was too orange (the Copic R’s ) and I went over them with pinks (Copic RV’s). I was trying to coordinate my coloring to match my layer designer paper. I ended up coloring some portions of the designer paper as well.

Here’s another of Mo’ designs

IMG_1365 I CASED this but can’t remember whose blog I was on.

Happy Stamping,

Attitude

IMG_1322

Doesn’t she look like she has attitude. I thought so and I have several friends with attitude so I made a few more.

The stamp is from Viva Las Vegas Stamps and colored with Copics. I also used a Cover-A Card Stamp on the background and layer from Impression Obsession.

Tomato Thieves

Now I know why I don’t get any tomatoes in my garden:

Well not today.  I have to get at least one, since I planted and watered that tomato plant…right?

Friday Night Stamping

I was at home tonight and thinking about two very special people who are ill.

First Mother Caldwell, my adopted mother, she is at home recuperating after surgery and Karen Ihles from Marco’s Paper, who suffered a stroke last week.

I want to send them both get well cards.

These are what I came up with:

IMG_1338

To make this one I used the Damask Mask from Heidi Swapp with Broken China Distress Ink (Ranger) and Not Quite Navy Ink (Stampin Up). The corner stamp is by Penny Black and the sentiment is a clear stamp from Stampendous. The tag is from Spellbinders and I used a cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. I plan to send it to Mother Caldwell.

The difference on this one is that I used the Butterfly Mask from Heidi Swapp and I used Sugar Cookie Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels. The Butterfly masks had been used before so they imparted some left over color which gave it a very interesting look. (Just wish I could duplicate it but I have no idea what was left behind on the masks). This one goes to Karen Ihles.

If you would please join me in prayer for these two special women. And enjoy your long weekend, I plan to.

Sincerely,
